  Venue grounds were kept beautifully. There is a two story conjugal cottage for getting ready. The gardens were immaculate. We enjoyed the train museum during cocktail hour. There are and so many beautiful spots for photos. Venue clearly and consistently communicated with us. Delight exist aware that when yous book Wandering Tree, you are only getting the grounds. Nothing else is included such as restrooms, lighting, valet etc.

  Overall we had wonderful wedding at Wandering Tree. I would like to provide more suggestions for couples who interested in the venue:
  Smashing thing virtually this Venue:
  1. It is absolutely beautiful!
  two. This place very intimate which is smashing for family unit and friends to gathering together!
  iii. The price is reasonable compared to similar venue! (I booked at the wintertime, so I got a special price 7000 dollars for three days, including outside train and bridal cottage) Information technology provides three days for couple to have wedding (Fri to fix upward, Saturday for hymeneals and Sunday for make clean up). Fourth dimension is significant important for me because I had a DIY nuptials! I planned, decor, design, fabricated flowers and wedding ceremony dress etc for my wedding. I appciate the owner really provide me more than than three days to set my wedding! My DIY cannot happen without their cooperation.
  Something non perfect:
  ane. Weather is unpredictable in Chicago! If it is rain, many things get more complicate!
  Information technology is a outdoor venue, I personally consider the pelting change the beauty and pregnant of the outdoor wedding. You lot have to spend more than money to rent a tent. If it is rain, the lovely railroad train volition shutdown. The money I paid including conjugal cottage and exterior railroad train. However, the owner said they cannot let to train become if it is rain. Many of my friends want to find the train. So they were so disappointed nigh it.The nigh terriable affair virtually the pelting is: in that location volition be so many mosquito and bugs. My invitee were seize with teeth very serious at the day. Specially ladys with brusque skirts. One of my friend even went to the infirmary to check! I spoke to the owner, he explained the rain can alter everything even they spray during the before morning.
  ii. Do not mail things to there! They received my flowers only lost my sparkle. I could non play the sparkle during my day.
  iii. please exercise non waste of your time to notice your own vendors, just utilise his prefer vendor. It will be complicate!
